We completed 6 years today as Awsm Digital Innovations. These 6 years had many ups and downs but we enjoyed every moment of it.
Fidiz Solutions was born in 2010 from our love for WordPress. We started as a small team but now we have grown to a strong team of 20. We now have a Product team, Development team, Happiness team, Operations team, Content team, and Design team. The unbelievable fact is that we built these teams (except for the Development team and Operations team) after we started working remotely!
Our journey was eventful. We had to face several challenges fate threw in our way, including a pandemic. We learned our lessons from our brief association with CGWerks Digital Singapore or staying afloat and keeping deadlines during a pandemic. But we enjoyed the challenges and our team always rose to the occasion.
Our direction was always dictated by our love for WordPress. We have always been active when it comes to sponsoring WordCamps or meetups and contributing to the Core. But with the pandemic and life getting in the way, we slightly slacked with the Core contributions. Well no more! We have started to actively contribute to WP; last month, 5 from our tribe contributed. More contributions are on the way and we have already made plans to attend the coming up WordCamps and Meetups in Asia.
We started attending several Twitter spaces too. Aravind discussed with Harsh Agrawal how and why to upgrade from Freelancing to the Agency model while Jyolsna cohosted #WPTalks, a talk show on Twitter Spaces.
We have a Twitter space today for #WordPress Developers & #Freelancers on how and why to upgrade from #freelancing to the #agency model. 😎😊@aravindajith will be joining us today

We have been actively sharing our WP knowledge through WP-Content.co and bringing the latest WP news free to the community with our Newsletter. Within a short period of time, both our blog and newsletter have cemented a place in WP space.
And of course, we have continued contributing to worthy causes like the PHO foundation, WPGivesAHand Movement, PHP Foundation, WordPress Foundation, and Big Orange Heart.
Lately, we have given our Products the importance they richly deserve. We have a dedicated team led by Anantajit and we have been getting amazing reviews. Our plugins are doing well in the various marketplaces and our users are happy.
Our WP Job Openings is on the way to becoming a recruitment CRM and has now 3 powerful add-ons. We are working hard to improve our other plugins with more features and addons. Our users are in for a wonderful time!
Today we have clients from almost all continents except Antarctica. We spread our presence lately to Africa too. Right from the beginning, we were adamant about giving the best to our clients. We don’t do business at Awsm, we build relationships. And we have succeeded. We make clients for life. Some of our early clients are still with us after decades.
This is the 3rd Awsm Day we are celebrating online. Once upon a time, when we worked from the office, we celebrated the day in style. And we have succeeded in maintaining that same spirit, though we are now spread across 2 countries now.
Our celebrations are not limited to Awsm Day. We celebrate all special days online, including Christmas, Onam, Diwali, workiversaries and birthdays. We ensure that we adhere to our philosophy of being happy and spreading happiness. The reason why we have a Happiness Team!
After 2 long years, our team met for the first time in May this year and had a blast. We have decided to continue organizing regular meetups; the second one is coming up next month! We also have online technical sessions to keep up with the changes in technology and online games to refresh our minds.
We don’t have any plans for world domination but sure have several to have a great time together as a team. We will continue contributing to WordPress – after all, it’s our first love! We promise to be a more energetic and visible team in the coming future. In short, we see an awesome future with more fun, challenges, and contributions.
